Elizabeth Mick received a "2018 ABE Teacher Recognition Award" from Harvard University for her work exposing students to an annual science lab at Harvard University. She has hosted a trip to the Bigelow Lab in Boothbay and Harvard University in Boston, MA for 15+ years with about 20 students and many have commented that it was a highlight of their BAHS school experiences.  It was noted by Harvard that "our students, colleagues, and department heads truly appreciate the effort and enthusiasm you exhibit in order to run the ABE Program in your classroom. "
She was one of 10 educators selected out of several hundred to receive the award and is traveling to Boston to receive recognition on Friday, October 26th.
     Congratulations Ms. Mick!
