National Honor Society Application Process

posted Jan 8, 2014, 1:10 PM by butch.richards@rsu20.org
Molly Ross and Pamela Lynam would like to announce the start of the National Honor Society application process.  Letters will be distributed to students the first week of February.

In order for a student to be eligible, they MUST have a
CUMULATIVE GPA
of a flat 90 or higher.

Students need to be:  Enrolled as a student for this year, a member of our student body for a full semester, and have grades for 9th, 10th, and the first semester of their junior year.  From all of these semesters, the cummalative GPA is awarded.  This is the starting phase of eligibility.

Students will then be asked to complete an application & write an essay, which will have to be turned in after February vacation.

Once all applications are turned in, a faculty council team of 5 staff members, who will remain anonymous, will review the applications and essays for determination of entrance into our chapter of the National Honor Society.

If you have any questions about this process, please do not hestiate to contact Molly or Pam at the following emails.
