JMG Students Work with Elementary Children

JMG Career Association students have been working with the 3rd and 4th grades at East Belfast Elementary School, around future focus and career interest. In January, JMG students surveyed those two younger grades to get an idea of the career cluster and two occupations most interesting to those students – Hair Stylist and Police Officer were most popular. Guest Speakers were then lined up and scheduled to present a hands-on, interactive session over their occupation. Corporal Hills of the State police, with his K-9 partner Lola, and Lisa Nichols, from Nichols Salon, did a fantastic job of discussing their careers and having fun with the students!
