To educate and celebrate our diverse culture at BAHS we have established the week of October 5 - 8 as International Week.  Activities will include a morning greeting by our exchange students in their native language then translated to English and their assistance in reading the morning announcements.  A world map “question of the day”, the map is located in the cafeteria.  Lunch cultural displays and powerpoints in the lobby area and/or classrooms by staff and students.  We have also established an Academic Homeroom presentation to introduce and welcome our International peers and to have students exposed to International opportunities.

Each department in invited to participate through class integration of topics as relevant.

The week includes the 4th Annual International Night in the Band Room, Thursday, from 6:00 to 8:00.  Our current exchange students and well as students and staff who traveled abroad will make presentations and answer questions.
