Culinary Arts and Exploring Foods

Students in BAHS' Exploring Foods classes were recently treated to a guest cooking demonstration and talk. Allison O'Hearn, a senior Culinary Arts student from Johnson & Wales University Rhode Island campus, visited both Foods classes and spoke with students about the programs offered at JWU, college life, internships and career options in the field of culinary arts. She demonstrated for the students a recipe of her own design, Banana Spring Rolls with a Chili Caramel Sauce (which were very yummy!). Two students volunteers, Kaitin and Lucas got to assist the future Chef with the lab prep.
