BAHS Students Linked to College Board and Khan Academy

The Belfast High School Guidance department has been busy this month linking student Khan Academy accounts to College Board accounts that students have created.  College Board has partnered with Khan Academy to create personalized online SAT practice for students. College Board will upload a student’s score report from PSAT tests to Khan Academy SAT prep.  Khan will then give the student more personalized practice based on the student’s needs. There is also generalized SAT practice on Khan that any student can use, even if they are not linked to College Board to get personalized results.

Many thanks to the Social Studies Department for allowing the sign up and linking of accounts during World History classes for 10th graders.  The Math Department allowed us time to sign up and link 9th graders to Khan Academy and College Board. Juniors were signed up and linked last year.  Students will be encouraged to use Khan Academy SAT practice during homeroom time as a way to help them earn higher SAT scores their junior and senior years.  Check out the site: satpractice.org
