BAHS Science Olympians Takes Home Medals From States

On Saturday, March 31, the BAHS Science Olympiad Team traveled to the University of Southern Maine in Gorham to compete in the Maine State Science Olympiad Tournament. Sixteen teams from Maine’s private and public high schools participated. Students, working alone or in pairs, competed in 23 different rigorous science and engineering events throughout the day. This year, the high school had two teams participate while the middle school had one team. BAHS students took home 5-Olympic medals. A team from Waynflete Academy placed 1st and will represent Maine at the National Tournament at Colorado in May.
