BAHS Goes Passionately Pink for the Cure

posted Oct 22, 2013, 7:28 AM by butch.richards@rsu20.org
In support of October's breast cancer awareness month, Belfast Area High School staff held its 9th annual Passionately Pink for the Cure event this past Friday. Staff members wore pink to show their support for breast cancer research and made donations to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Fund.  For every $100 donated, a free mammogram can be provided to someone who could not otherwise afford to have this screening done. Over the last nine years, BAHS has raised over $2,500 to support breast cancer research.
